In this article we will go over taking quizzes online using Brightspace. Some quizzes require use of the Respondus LockDown Browser, for more information on that, see Using Respondus LockDown Browser.

From Quizzes

Quiz Summary Screen
This screen will show you a summary of the quiz. It will have details such as how much time you will be allotted to complete the quiz, how many attempts you are allowed, how many attempts you’ve completed, and any instructions that your instructor has provided to you. When you are ready to begin, click Start Quiz! at the bottom of the page.
Taking the Quiz
Here is a preview of what the quiz interface may look like:
At the top of the page you’ll find the quiz title, time limit, remaining time, your name, and what attempt you’re on. On the left side of the page is an overview of the questions, showing the questions you’ve answered and how many are left unanswered.
Quizzes may contain multiple choice, true or false, short form response, essays, mathematical equations, and more. Some question types (like multiple choice and true or false) can be automatically graded by Brightspace. however others may need to be graded manually by your instructor. Your instructor may choose to show what questions you got correct or incorrect, but this may vary from quiz to quiz.
