Instructional Designer's Note: Rubrics don't have to be graded, and they don't have to work just "one way." You can use rubrics to simply give quick assignment feedback to students--particularly feedback you find yourself repeating a lot. You can also use rubrics to help students better understand how to reach for improved scores. Schedule time with our Sr. Instructional Designer, Araminta Matthews, by submitting a ticket to KVCCBOLTS@Mainecc.edu, attend a PD session on Rubrics, or reach out with questions as they arise. Rubrics can make your grading life easier by saving you time and helping your students better understand your expectations. |
