Module | A unit of content within a course that typically covers a specific topic or theme. |
Content | Educational materials such as text, documents, videos, quizzes, and discussions available within a course. |
Discussion Board | An online forum where students and instructors can post and reply to messages to facilitate class discussions. |
Assignment | A task or project assigned to students that they need to complete and submit online. |
Quiz | An online assessment consisting of multiple-choice, true/false, or short answer questions. |
Gradebook | A tool within Brightspace that allows instructors to track and manage student grades. |
Rubric | A set of criteria used to evaluate and grade student assignments consistently. |
Announcement | A message or notification posted by an instructor to communicate important information to students. |
Syllabus | A document that outlines the course objectives, schedule, assignments, and policies. |
Calendar | A tool that displays important dates and deadlines for a course. |
Conditional Release | A feature that allows instructors to control when specific content becomes available to students. |
ePortfolio | A digital portfolio tool within Brightspace that allows students to collect, showcase, and reflect upon their work, achievements, and learning experiences. |
