Adding and Using the Copyleaks Teacher Scanning Tool

Instructions:

This tool can be used without modifying your current course setup.

  1. Navigate to the module where you want to add the scanning tool (We recommend creating a module for instructor-only tools like this and making it hidden from students).

  2. Select Existing Activities, scroll through the list until you see Copyleaks Instructor Scan Tool, and click on it.

  3. The tool will be added as a link to your module.

  4. Click on the link, and you will be redirected to the tool.

  5. Click Scan Documents.

  6. Next, click on Upload Files.

  7. Select the document you want to check (you cannot upload entire folders but can highlight multiple documents at a time and upload them).

  8. Once uploaded, documents will be listed.

  9. Select the checkbox next to the document or select all of them with the topmost checkbox.

  10. Click on Scan.

  11. This will scan the document and provide different scores for AI Content, Plagiarism, etc.

  12. Select the External Link Icon as shown below to open up a full report for more information.
