This article will provide an overview of Brightspace’s structure and features and will show you how to navigate Brightspace to find what you need.

  • Brightspace Home: Click this house icon to return to the Brightspace home page

  • Course Selection “Waffle”: Click on this “waffle” to open a list of your courses. This is especially handy when going from one course to another without going to the home page

 

  • Message Alerts:

  • Announcements: This is another place where announcements can be found. When the bell has a little yellow dot, you have unread announcements

 

  • Profile & Settings: Click on your name to open a dialog with links to your Brightspace profile, notification settings, account settings, progress summary, and the log out button.
