Discussion Update Notification

In Brightspace you can enable various notifications specifically for Discussion threads so you will know when they’ve been updated.

1. Log into Brightspace

2. Click on your profile picture and name in the upper-right corner of the screen

   1. Open

      

3. Click on Notifications

4. Scroll down and select these two check boxes:

   1. Open

      

5. Click the blue Save button at the bottom of the screen

6. Open the Discussion thread you want notifications for

7. Click on the Subscribe button

   1. Open

      

8. Select how frequently to receive notifications on the post

   1. Open

      

9. Click the blue Subscribe button and you’re done, you will now start receiving notifications of new activity on that Discussion thread!
